Anand is Director of Platform / Product Partnerships for Messenger at Facebook. He was most recently Chief Product Officer @ Snapdeal, one of India's pre-eminent Internet franchises (Snapdeal, Freecharge etc.) with 1M daily transactions, $5 billion in annual goods sold and over 1,000 engineers. Previously, he was CPO at Bharti Airtel, the #3 mobile operator globally with 300M subscribers driving Wynk Music, APIs, Airtel Money etc. and leading the e-commerce business.

Earlier, Anand was with Yahoo, where he held roles of Sr. Director for Search and Mobile. Prior to Yahoo, Anand was Director of Product at Openwave. Previously, he co-founded Aeroprise Inc. Under Anand's leadership, Aeroprise became the most-deployed solution worldwide for mobile service management, raised $7M in funding and was acquired by BMC Software.

Anand holds a M.S. in Electrical Engg. from Stanford University, and a B.S. in Communications Engg. from PSG College of Technology (India). In 2010, he was named Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. Anand served as Venture Advisor at Storm Ventures, a $500M VC firm. In 2016, Anand was named to Fortune's '40 under 40' list in India.

He is an active angel investor with over 30 investments in Consumer internet, B2c and p2p Marketplaces, Fintech and SaaS.
