Vikram Chandra is one of India's best known TV anchors. He presents 'The Big Fight', which has long been one of India's top rated news and current affairs programmes, along with other prime time shows like the 9 o’clock news and Reality Check. He is also considered one of India’s most credible voices on technology, having hosted 'Gadget Guru' for more than a decade.

As a special correspondent, he has extensively covered the Siachen & Kargil wars, and the conflict in Kashmir. He has interviewed global personalities ranging from Tim Cook and Bill Gates to Shimon Peres and the King of Saudi Arabia.

Vikram has been named 'Global Leader for Tomorrow' and a 'Young Global Leader' by the World Economic Forum in Davos; and has won the Indian Television Academy Award for 'Best Anchor for a Talk Show', the Hero Honda Award for Best Anchorperson and the Teacher's Achievement Award for Communication.

He has been closely associated with social programming for public interest and has anchored a number of NDTV’s social campaigns including several ‘GREENATHONS’, the ‘Support my School’ drive, the Banega Swacch India campaign and the ‘Save our Tigers’ initiative.

Vikram set up NDTV.com in 2000, and led NDTV’s digital initiatives for more than a decade and a half. These rank among the top digital properties in the country, and so he is considered one of India’s internet pioneers.

Vikram became the CEO of the NDTV Group in 2011, and a director on the NDTV Board before returning to his passions around journalism and technology.
